Duties of a general partner in a limited partnership

• He runs the affairs of the partnership firm and in the event of the dissolution; its affairs shall be wound up by the general partner.
• His actions are binding on the partnership. The general partner shares in management. He is thus liable for all the debts and obligations of the firm.
