QUESTION TWO
a) The prison department has come with incentives to encourage good behaviour and therefore
a habitable environment for prisoners. On the other hand there are disincentives that are
very discouraging. Explain any five (5 Marks)
b) No significant amount of progress can be made in easing the transition from prison to home
until and unless significant changes are made in the way prisoners are prepared to leave
prison and re-enter the “free-world” communities from which they came. Explain any

d) List down any six Mental health conditions that may be diagnosed and treated by
a psychiatrist (6 Marks)
