a) A table has been used to create a leaflet showing information on the different cars
available and showing a picture of each car alongside it. State TWO advantage of using
a table to display the information.

particularly useful. What is meant by wordwrap?

d) A Leading pump manufacturing company has target for new financial year 20010-11 is
to sell 10000 pumps. Price of pump is KES 78990-. All the parts of the pump are
manufactured in house having setup cost KES. 200 Lakhs and variable cost per pump is
KES.10000/-
Find out profit loss in year 20010-11 if company achieved its target. (Lakhs is a unit in
the Indian numbering system equal to one hundred thousand)

a) Before a brochure is sent for publishing a paragraph is deleted from page 1 but none of
the text from the top of page 2 appears on page 1. What feature of the package has been
used to prevent the text on page 2 moving automatically to page 1?

b) Answer the following questions briefly
(i). Write the steps involved in changing name of file or folder.
(ii).How will you add rows at the end of the table and column in a table?

c) A Payroll consists of Basic Pay, Allowances, Gross Salary, Deductions and Net Salary.
The Allowances are 23% of the Basic Pay while the Deductions are 12% of the Gross
Salary.
In the given worksheet, indicate in each cell what will be inserted, that is – a value or a
formula. In the case of a formula, write down the formula in the cell.
