As an expert in this area, Explain to RBA this emerging issues about the scheme, its effects and the solutions to the underlined effects. (25 Marks)
QUESTION TWO
EABL sought for your services as a consultant on various issues related to Annuities and Personal pensions management in organizations. Discuss the various types of annuities available and the pay options for annuities as well. (15 Marks)
QUESTION THREE
The retirement Benefit Act of Kenya contributes to the main legislations that protect the interest of the workforce. Briefly, explain the provisions of the Act to an active and ageing labour force within Maasai Mara University. (15 Marks)
QUESTION FOUR
XYZ Ltd sought for your advice on pension fund management and investment schemes available for employees in Kenya. As an expert in this area, discuss these investment schemes and briefly analyze the importance of employees joining such schemes. (15 Marks)
QUESTION FIVE
Olochorro Olepo Wildlife Sanctuary has ten Rangers aged 60 years and above, Five of them have no doubt that they are ready for retirement, two are not so sure if they should retire, two are worried about finances, while the last one is too attached to his profession to retire. These Rangers need to ask themselves a list of questions to determine whether they are ready for the retirement. As a Human Resource Specialist, explain to them what they should consider in determining if they are ready for retirement and thereafter explain to them the importance of retirement. (15 Marks)
