Category Plans should be developed with key stakeholders and:
- align with customer business objectives;
- influence scope of category sourcing projects and strategies;
- provide strategic direction of contract management initiatives; require an effective Category Strategy communication pack.
Note: Category Plans must be reviewed and refreshed periodically.
