QUESTION ONE
Corona Virus Disease 2019(COVID-19) outbreak was first reported in Wuhan, China and has spread to
more than 50 countries. WHO declared COVID-19 as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern
(PHEIC) on 30 January 2020. Naturally, a rising infectious disease involves fast spreading, endangering
the health of large numbers of people, and thus requires immediate actions to prevent the disease at the
community level. The Government of Kenya has recommended several precautionary measures such as
Keeping Social distance, working from home, among others. Information communication Technology
(ICT) applications are viewed as suitable tools for supporting some of these precautionary measures.
Identify one of the COVID-19 Precautionary measure that has been recommended government of Kenya
and do the following tasks:
1. Compile object design document for an ICT application that can be used to support implementation of the
identified precautionary measure (25 Marks)
2. Use object-oriented programming language to develop a prototype of computer or mobile application that
implements the specifications in object design document.
Prototype should have the following features:
i. Comments of implemented features (2 Marks)
ii. At least two classes (4 Marks)
iii. At least two objects (4 Marks)
iv. At least three methods (3 Marks)
v. At least three different types of class Associations (6 Marks)
vi. Allow input from the user and provide output (4 Marks)
vii. Use of Message passing (2 Marks)

3. Submit a Zip file that consist object design document as well as a document with screen shots of the
prototype code and output.
