A television set (TV) is sold on hire purchase terms. A deposit of Ksh. 15,000 is required and the balance is paid in 15 monthly instalments of Ksh. 5,000. Calculate the hire purchase price of the TV set. (2 marks)

24. (a) Grade A tea oasts Ksh. 120 per kg while Grade B tea costs Ksh. 165 per kg. The two grades of tea arc mixed to produce a mixture that sells al Ksh. 180 per kg. The profit on selling the mixture is 25%. Determine the ratio at which the two grades of tea are mixed.
