b) Calculate the file size for 1 minute, 44.1 KHz, 16-bits, stereo sound file? (3 marks)
c) On what criteria you would emphasize while selecting a multimedia computer
system? (5 marks)
d) Differentiate between the BMP, JPG, GIF and TIFF image file formats mentioning
where each is used? (8 marks)
e) What are the various modes of JPEG encoding schemes? Explain JPEG image

f) What is dictionary based compression? Show all the steps of LZ compression

c) Identify and list the parameters that determine the quality of pictures. (5 marks)
d) What are the issues of multimedia synchronization. (5 marks)
