c) State six key human resource management areas where policy development is important showing why policy is important in those areas. 12 marks
Question two
Mombasa Unga limited is a private company that produces maize mills. The management of the company has approached you to help them prepare their human resource policy document. You are to guide them on need development. Prepare a paper to guide them on the same. 15 marks
Question three
a. Drafting a policy document is key to the stakeholder’s understanding and implementation of the policy. What are the key factors to consider while drafting the policy? 10 marks
b. As the Board Chairman of an organization, what are the considerations that you make before approving a policy document? 5 marks
Question four
a. What are the factors that you consider when preparing a policy training session? 10 marks
b. How would you ensure that the line managers accept your policy? 5 marks
Question five
The implementation of policy is a key component in the success of any organization. This does not happen without challenges. Citing examples briefly discuss five key challenges that managers face in implementing policy and give suggestions on how to overcome them. 15 marks
