software and give at least one relevant example for each. [4 Marks]
b) Highlight two reasons why information systems need to be deployed in today’s
organizations. [2 Marks]
c) With the aid of a well labeled diagram, highlight and explain the roles of key components of
an information system. [10 Marks]
d) Strategic information in an organization is drawn from both internal and external sources.
Explain your understanding of these two sources of information giving relevant examples in
each case. [4 Marks]
